Agenda for Thursday 4.29.10

Due:

  • Installation design concept and proposal developed and represented on 1 11″ x 17″ sheet.
  • In progress grasshopper model.

Agenda:

  • 4:40-7:30 Meet with the following teams: 1. Fernando’s Team;  2. Haixi’s Team; 3. Fransisco’s Team; 4. Lyndsey’s Team

Due Next Week:

  • Project 4 will be due and is worth 30% of your grade.

Agenda for Thursday 4.22.10

Due:

  • Each team needs to have at least 3 concepts for the installation represented and formatted on three 11″ x 17″ landscape formatted pages.  These pages should be ready for discussion on Thursday.  By the end of the day one concept must be chosen and then developed.

Agenda:

  • Meet in usual class location (computing commons).
  • 4:40-5:40pm Tutorial on VB Scripting: recursive cracking example
  • 5:40-6pm Course Evals
  • 6-7:30pm Meet with teams and review concepts.

  • Project 3 Part 2

Agenda:

  • 4:40-7 pm Pin-up in Tall Hall starting on the south east corner.  Any order.  Please space yourselves by 1′ of distance and pin-up at the same level (eye level).  Please pin up both your drawing (left side) from last week and have your model set up (right side).  Please be ready to briefly describe your algorithmic model and rule set.
  • 7- 7:30 pm handout Final Project

  • Experiment with creating your own loops.  Experiment with If/Then statements and the math functions.  Try to create other object besides spheres.
